My tadpoles have arrived, how do I release them into my pond?
Once you have placed an order for tadpoles, we will email you an order confirmation number. We will email you again once your order has been shipped. You will receive a FedEx Tracking number to let you know that your tadpoles are on their way and you should get them within 24 hours of receiving the tracking information.
Our tadpoles are shipped according to industry standards with enough air to survive their trip to you. Once you receive them, it is important to get them into the water quickly. We recommend that you place a cup or two of your pond water into the bag they are in, and then gently release them into your pond. Tadpoles are cold blooded and the temperature of the water is not important.
We try to send all of our tadpoles FedEx, so it is important that your tadpole order is shipped to an address where it will not sit on the porch all day in the hot sun or sent to a PO address.
If your tadpoles arrive in less than perfect condition, call us and leave a message or email us as quickly as possible and snap a picture if able.
