Carolina Queen Lotus has beautiful, lively pink color with barely a suggestion of orange in the petals and radiant yellow centers. A stately and magnificent lotus from hybridizer, Perry D. Slocum. This tall specimen will grace an area of your pond or look fabulous in containers on your deck or patio.
Plant this beauty in a large, wide, shallow container. Always plant your lotus in heavy loam soil (keeping the growth tips exposed) in full sun and NEVER fertilize until you have aerial leaves growing up out of the water. Once you have aerial leaves, fertilize monthly with Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs. We sell and recommend these fertilizer tabs for robust plants and best bloom!
Once your lotus is established, fertilize during the growing/blooming season every three weeks for robust blooms and optimum health of your lotus.
