Graceful Cattails (Typha Laxmannii) Dwarf
Graceful Cattails (Typha Laxmannii) also known as Cat-o-Nine Tails, Cat Tails, Cat Tail Plant, and Bulrush Plant, are an excellent choice when you want the distinct look of a cattail in your water garden. Graceful Cattails are not as aggressive as the common cattail and is more of a dwarf version growing much shorter and smaller. This variety is a slender version, with narrow, light green leaves and blooms in late summer to early fall with smaller catkins. Graceful Cattails bend gracefully in the breeze, grow 3 - 4 feet tall in full sun to part shade. Graceful Cattail grows well in shallow, standing water when placed in a container in your pond.
