Plant your tropical, day blooming waterlily in a wide, shallow container using loam soil. Place your waterlily container 1 foot beneath the surface of the water, in full sun. Once your waterlily is established, you may move it to a lower depth in the pond, up to 24 inches beneath the surface of the water. (Deeper depths are for mature plants.)
Fertilize your tropical, dayblooming waterlily throughout the growing / blooming season with a slow release fertilizer like 'Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs' for optimum growth, best bloom and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil of your waterlily container.
