Leopardess Tropical, Dayblooming Waterlily is superb with cup shaped flowers in striking shades of blue with richly mottled pads. This is a unique and unusual pairing which adds showstopping beauty to any water feature. This is a medium - large tropical waterlily with a 4 - 6 foot spread on established plants and was hybridized by Randig in 1958. Leopardess Waterlily is a free flowering waterlily.
Plant your Leopardess Waterlily in a wide, shallow container using loam soil and place 6 - 12 inches beneath the surface of the water, in full sun. Once established, you may lower your waterlily to a depth of 24 inches beneath the surface of the water. (Deeper depths is for mature plants.)
Fertilize your waterlily once each month throughout the growing / blooming season with a slow release fertilizer like 'Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs' for optimum growth, best bloom and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil of your waterlily container.
