Lily Pons Hardy Waterlily has few blooms but when she does bloom, her blooms are spectacular! This large waterlily has a 4 - 5 foot spread and the blooms are as large or larger than the 4 - 6 inch lily pads! Flowers are rare but can be 5 - 6 inches in size, scrumptious pink in color and often have 100 petals. Named for the renowned opera star, Miss Lily Pons, this particular waterlily is not recommended for our southern customers.
Plant your hardy waterlily in a wide, shallow container using heavy loam soil. Place your newly planted waterlily in shallow water until plant is established (6 - 10 inches). Once established, place your waterlily container 12 - 24 inches beneath the surface of the water, in full sun.
Fertilize once a month for optimum health and best bloom!
