Montana Butterfly Plant-Nymphoides indica
Montana Butterfly Plant (Nymphoides indica), also known as Variegated Water Snowflake, a delightful little pond plant with very small (2 - 3 inch) green pads and frilly, little blooms. This little gem blooms all summer long until frost and Montana Butterfly Plant is a wonderful addition to small ponds or container gardens. Established plants have up to a two foot spread across the surface of the water.

Moisture Requirements Wet, must be planted in loam soil and placed beneath the surface of the water

Plant your Montana Butterfly Plant in a small container using 50% loam soil mixed with a 50% sand. Place the container 3 - 20 inches beneath the surface of the water in full sun. Montana Butterfly Plant prefers calm water and does not tolerate dry conditions or climates where it freezes. Fertilize once each month throughout the growing/blooming season with Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs.
