Oregon Sunrise Pink Kaffir Lily (schizostylus coccinea)

Plant Description

Oregon Sunrise Kaffir Lily is a beautiful perennial plant with lovely bright-pink, stellate blooms on flower spikes above the semi-perennial, green, grass-like foliage. This delightful plant has a clumping habitat and originates from South Africa. Oregon Sunrise Kaffir Lilies have a long bloom season (August, September and October), and add bright pops of color when other blooms may be fading. This is a plant that loves moist, loam soil or planted in pots of loam soil with shallow water above the roots (up to three inches of water above the roots).
