Plant your Peach Delight Canna in your terrestrial garden in full sun to part shade (full sun is best). Make sure your soil is heavily composted. Once your canna are planted, water well and keep evenly moist, especially during dry spells. Lift cann after first frost in the fall and over winter indoors in a cool, dry, dark area.
If planting in the pond, plant your canna in a container using loam soil. Place your container in the pond with up to 2 inches of water above the soil in full sun to part shade (full sun is best). You may overwinter your canna indoors in a cool, dry, dark area and replant in the spring after all danger of frost has passed.
*When planting your canna, never bury the rhizomes too deep--simply 1/2 an inch of soil above the rhizomes in your flower bed or in containers for the pond.
