Pink Shell Waterlily is a large, night blooming waterlily. The large flowers are simply a breath of pink with white striping down the center of the petals with yellow stamens.. The large, impressive pads are yellow-green and serrated at the edges. Pink Shell Waterlily blooms open at dusk and close at 9am the next day. Absolutely stunning on moonlit nights! Great addition to large ponds. Water must be warm before you place in pond, usually about 75 degrees.
Plant in large, wide containers with heavy loam soil. Place 1 - 2 feet beneath surface of the water in full sun.
To keep this great pond plant blooming all season long, fertilize with Landon Granular Fertilizer or slow release fertilizer tabs from May until September.
