Queen Sirikit Waterlily is one of our favorite purple hardy waterlilies! This wonderful plant has a fresh, pleasing look in the water garden. This medium sized waterlily has wide, deep purple petals with white at the base of the petals, golden-yellow stamens and green foliage, with a 3 - 4 foot spread. Queen Sirikit takes a little longer to become established in the water garden but well worth the effort. Queen Sirikit is a shy bloomer but makes a wonderful addition to the waterlily collector's water garden.
Plant in a wide, shallow container using loam soil, place 12 - 18 inches beneath the surface of the water, in full sun. Fertilize monthly for best bloom and vigorous growth as waterlilies are very heavy feeders!
We use, sell and recommend Landon Granular Fertilizer and Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for optimum growth and best bloom!
