Red Beans Louisiana Iris is an amazing, red iris with brick-red color over the petals. Dark-red styles along with dark-red outlines give this moisture loving iris a striking appearance. Red Beans Louisiana grows about 32 inches tall with an 18 inch spread. The handsome green foliage on Red Beans Louisiana Iris is a nice complement to this stunning variety and foliage looks nice all season long. Red Beans Louisiana Iris prefers full sun but does well with up to 6 hours of sunlight daily. Wonderful for lakes, streams and ponds. Iris also help with bank erosion. Great for bog filters, too!

Planting Instructions

Plant your Red Beans Louisiana Iris in moist, loam soil when planting in your terrestrial garden, keep soil evenly moist, especially during dry spells. Plant in containers in the pond using loam soil with up to two inches of water above the soil. Plant in full sun to part shade, and divide your iris every 2 to 3 years as needed.
