Red Cup Waterlily has very large, 5 - 8 inch, luscious,magenta, cup shaped blooms. The flower color deepens as the blooms mature.The lily pads are bronze. Red Cup Waterlily is a prolific bloomer and is free flowering with a 5 - 6 foot spread. Red Cup Waterlily opens at dusk and closes by mid-morning.
Plant in large, wide container using heavy loam soil. Plant this lovely night blooming specimen in full sun to part shade. Place 6 - 24 inches below surface of the water.
