Ruby Slipper Lobelia is an excellent specimen, especially for our Pacific Coast customers. Ruby Slipper Lobelia is a showy plant with lovely green foliage and spikes of ruby-red, tubular blooms from early summer until fall. Grows to 3 feet tall and 1 foot wide in optimum conditions. Ruby Slipper Lobelia prefers moist, boggy soil or loam and prefers part sun-part shade. Filtered light is best. A good choice as a border plant in a flower garden, in a bog area next to a water feature or on the slope of a stream bed as Ruby Slipper aids in preventing soil erosion. Best when planted in the spring or early fall. This allows the roots to become established. A CUSTOMER FAVORITE!
