Plant Description

Red Leaf Bog Lily (Crinum)  is a lovely and unusual specimen with leaves as attractive as the flowers! Long, strap-like leaves are red and one to two inches wide. Flowers on the Red Leaf Bog Lily are about 6 inches wide and are a delightful shade of pink!  Red Leaf Bog Lily blooms summer to fall, red foliage stays nice all season long. Plant in moist soil in full sun to part shade.  Great for bog areas of the pond or moist flower beds. Grows 1 - 3 feet tall or taller. Red Leaf Bog Lily propagates from bulbs.

Planting Instructions

Plant your Red Leaf Bog Lily in moist loam soil in planting containers or directly into the soil of your bog area in full sun to part shade. Red Leaf Bog Lilies bloom better in full sun. This plant does well in moist soil or with up to 6 inches of water above the roots. (Deeper depths is for established plants.)

*Never plant your pond plants in rocks or with stones on top of the soil, rocks and stones will crush the new roots of your pond plants.
