Snowflake Bells (Leucojum aestivum)
Snowflake Bells also known as Summer Snowflake, are a delightful plant from the Daffodil family. Green, Daffodil-like foliage that grows to 24 inches tall accentuates the white, bell-shaped blooms with scalloped edging and small green markings, giving this lovely plant character and adding interest. Blooms in the spring, usually in late April-May, depending on zone.

Plant your Snowflake Bells in full sun to part shade in moist soil. Snowflake Bells are great for naturalizing in streambeds, marshes, bogs, wetlands or regular flower beds and borders. Plant your Snowflake Bells 3 - 4 inches deep in moist, loam soil and space them 6 - 8 inches apart. Add mulch to help keep the soil moist. Plants reproduce by bulb division at the root of the plants. Snowflake Bells are beautiful when planted in mass!
