Society Flower (Tulbaghia violacea) also known as Society Garlic is a lovely little plant that hails from South Africa where it is also used as an herb. . Growing 12 inches tall with clusters of dainty, lavender-pink flowers atop the green stems and grass-like foliage from summer to fall. The leaves of Society Garlic resemble garlic chives and have a garlicky fragrance when broken or crushed which repel deer and makes it a great companion plant in your flower garden. Prefers full sun and sandy soil. Stunning when planted in mass.
